Ojibwemowin classes started in 2019 at the library and this camp will start to apply the teachings from our adult class.  Practice up and come make our teacher proud.  Lac du Flambeau traditional leader, Leon “Boycee” Valliere, Ogaawaagosh, will be present at the camp.  More information to come.

The library will host it’s first Ojibwemowin Immersion Camp on June 19, 2024 through June 21, 2024, where the goal is to only communicate in the Wa-swa-gon native language.  We are wanting to get numbers for people who are interested.  Age 16 and up can attend without a parent but with parental permission and under 15 must have a parent present.  Please call the library @ 715-588-7001 if you are interested.
